The i3 Group (formerly H2O Networks Group) was founded in 2002. Over the past eight years, we have developed many internationally patented technologies and methodologies for deploying fibre optic infrastructure through wastewater networks. This means we are able to significantly reduce the high costs and disruption associated with traditional deployment methods.

An end-to-end solution

These efficiencies stretch from wastewater fibre deployment, through to innovation and supply consolidation in areas such as micro-trenching, the repair and maintenance of wastewater networks (through H2O Support Services) and fibre component manufacturing (through Fibre Associates).

Making affordable fibre a reality

These developments have enabled H2O Networks to provide dark fibre infrastructure to businesses and public sector bodies, reducing costs and offering unlimited bandwidth at a long-term predictable cost; powering applications such as data centres, business process outsourcing and inter-site connectivity.

Now we are able to apply our expertise and patented technology to offer affordable fibre to the home (FTTH) for the first time, through Fibrecity Holdings. And, with Opencity Media, we are revolutionising the way in which providers connect with customers throughout the world.
